Our Story

The Devil’s Canvas started long before the T-shirts.

I’ve been obsessed with art and design since school. I carried that through college and eventually went on to study Graphic Design and Illustration at university.

While I was at university, I got my first tattoo machine, started an apprenticeship in a tattoo shop, and basically never looked back.

17 years of tattooing later, I’ve spent thousands of hours designing artwork, tattooing customers and, probably most importantly, hearing all the stories that come with them.

Bad dates. Toxic exes. Questionable decisions. Chaotic nights out. And plenty of stories that definitely shouldn’t be repeated here.

That’s where the clothing side of The Devil’s Canvas comes from.

I wanted to create tattoo-inspired clothing that actually has some personality — funny, cheeky, rebellious and occasionally a little inappropriate. The sort of thing you see on a T-shirt and immediately think, “Yep. That’s me.”

Everything is created with the same love of art, tattoo culture and slightly twisted humour that’s been part of my life for years.

Come for the clothes. Stay for the bad decisions. 😈
