By using this website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
OUR STORE
Our store is powered by Shopify, which provides the ecommerce platform used to offer our products. Purchases made through this website are made directly from The Devil’s Canvas, not Shopify.
PRODUCTS
We take reasonable care to display product descriptions, colours, sizes and images accurately. Colours may appear slightly different depending on your screen settings, and placement or appearance may vary slightly because products are printed individually.
Please check the product description and size information before ordering.
We may change or discontinue products without notice. Product availability is subject to stock and fulfilment availability.
ORDERS
Placing an order is an offer to purchase a product. Your order is accepted when we send confirmation that it has been accepted and payment has been successfully processed.
We may cancel or refuse an order if a product is unavailable, payment cannot be authorised, information is incorrect, fraud is suspected or there has been an obvious pricing or listing error. If payment has already been taken for a cancelled order, we will issue a refund.
Our products are printed to order and production may begin shortly after an order is placed. If you wish to change or cancel an order, contact us as quickly as possible. This does not affect any cancellation rights you have under UK consumer law.
PRICES AND PAYMENT
All prices are shown in pounds sterling unless stated otherwise. The price displayed at checkout includes any applicable taxes. Delivery charges are shown separately before you complete your order.
Payment must be made using one of the payment methods offered at checkout. You confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method provided.
DELIVERY
Available delivery options, charges and estimated delivery times are shown at checkout.
Delivery dates are estimates unless we expressly agree to a specific date. We are not responsible for delays caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, but this does not affect your statutory rights.
Unless another delivery period has been agreed, goods will be delivered within 30 days. Please contact us if your order is delayed or appears to be lost.
Responsibility for the goods remains with us until they are delivered to you or to a person you have nominated to receive them.
RETURNS, CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS
Returns, cancellations, faulty items and refunds are handled in accordance with our Return and Refund Policy.
For eligible online purchases, you normally have the right to cancel within 14 days of receiving your order and then a further 14 days to return it. Certain exclusions may apply, including genuinely personalised or custom-made products.
If an item is faulty, damaged, misprinted, incorrect or not as described, contact us as soon as possible and include photographs where appropriate. Your statutory rights are not affected.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All original designs, artwork, branding, logos, text, graphics and other content belonging to The Devil’s Canvas are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, sell or commercially use our designs or website content without our written permission.
ACCEPTABLE USE
You must not use this website:
• For unlawful or fraudulent purposes
• To interfere with the website’s operation or security
• To introduce viruses or other harmful material
• To collect other people’s personal information without permission
• To copy or exploit our content or products unlawfully
• To impersonate another person or provide deliberately false information
We may restrict access to the website where we reasonably believe these terms have been breached.
THIRD-PARTY SERVICES AND LINKS
Our website may use or link to services operated by third parties, including Shopify and payment or delivery providers. Those services may have their own terms and privacy policies.
We are not responsible for third-party websites that we do not control.
PRIVACY
We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Shopify and other service providers may also process information where necessary to operate the store, process payments and fulfil orders.
LIABILITY
We do not exclude or limit liability where doing so would be unlawful. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation or your statutory consumer rights.
We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed, or for business losses arising from a purchase made for personal use.
EVENTS OUTSIDE OUR CONTROL
We are not responsible for a delay or failure caused by an event outside our reasonable control. If this affects your order, we will contact you and take reasonable steps to minimise the delay. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these terms when our services, business practices or legal obligations change. The version applying to your purchase will be the version available when you placed your order.
GOVERNING LAW
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you retain any mandatory consumer protections and may be entitled to bring proceedings in the courts where you live.
